What we collect
- The three answers you give: what kind of home it is, when you want the work completed, and how you are hoping to pay for it.
- Your name, street address, ZIP code, email address and phone number.
- The record of your consent: the exact wording you agreed to, the time, your IP address and your browser user-agent string. This is captured on our server rather than taken from your browser.
- The page you arrived on, the site that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed.
Who we share it with
Up to three roofing contractors, and no more. They receive your answers and your contact details so they can quote the work. That is the purpose you gave the information for, and it is the only routine sharing we do.
We do not sell your information as a mailing list, publish it, or pass it to data brokers. We use service providers to run the site, store data and send messages, and those providers may process your information on our instructions only.
We will disclose information where the law requires it, and to protect against fraud or misuse.
What contractors may do
Once a contractor receives your request they are a separate business with their own privacy practices. We require them to contact you only about the request you submitted, but their handling of your information is governed by their policy, not ours. Ask them for it if you want it.
Marketing and consent
The consent you give at the end of the form is what allows contractors to call and text you, including by automated means. It is not a condition of any purchase. You can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling a caller to stop, or contacting us through the do-not-sell page. Withdrawing consent does not undo a request that has already been sent.
How long we keep it
Lead records, including the consent record, are retained for as long as we may need to evidence that consent, and no longer than five years. You can ask for deletion sooner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, to opt out of sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and several other states grant some or all of them. Use the do-not-sell and data request page and we will act on it.
Children
This site is not intended for anybody under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your progress through the form is kept in your own browser session storage so a reload does not lose your answers, and it never leaves your device until you submit.
